Tolland Imaging Center works with an extensive network of insurance and managed care organizations. Please bring your insurance card to your appointment and present it at the time of registration. We will take photocopies of your insurance cards and any pertinent information related to your insurance coverage. Any questions regarding your policy and coverage should be directed to your insurance carrier or your employer who provides any insurance to you, as insurance plans and benefits vary widely.

• Tolland Imaging Center (TIC LLC) is an independent Ancillary (Stand Alone) Facility.  We are co-owned by 3 hospital systems but we operate independently from them.  Our billing will reflect Tolland Imaging Center (TIC LLC) only. 
• Tolland Imaging Center does not know your individual insurance policy benefits/copays/deductibles before your appointment. If you have any questions regarding your insurance please speak to your insurance carrier prior to any appointments.
• Tolland Imaging Center bills globally.   Global billing means only one bill will be submitted to the insurance company.  There will not be a separate reading, facility, or interpretation charge. 
• Tolland Imaging Center (TIC LLC) participates with most insurance companies/products.  If you are unsure please contact your insurance carrier directly and ask them to check under “TIC LLC” or “Tolland Imaging Center”.
• Tolland Imaging Center’s billing department will bill your insurance company directly.  Your insurance company will then let Tolland Imaging Center’s billing company know if you have any financial responsibility.  You will receive a statement for any balance due.
